Crexels Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Account Information: Your name, email address, company name, and phone number provided during registration.
Project Data: Client names, contact information, project details, files, notes, and other content you create within the Service.
Payment Information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Usage Data: Log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
We use your data to: (a) provide, operate, and improve the Service; (b) process payments and manage your subscription; (c) send transactional emails; (d) respond to support requests; (e) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
We share your data only with trusted service providers: Stripe (payment processing), IONOS (cloud hosting), and Anthropic (AI features). All providers are contractually required to protect your data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days to allow for export, then permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at hello@crexels.io.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We implement HTTPS encryption, secure server infrastructure, and access controls. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure.
If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact hello@crexels.io. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Our legal bases for processing: (a) performance of a contract; (b) compliance with legal obligations; (c) legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.
Crexels is operated from the United States. EU/EEA users' data may be transferred to the US with appropriate GDPR safeguards in place.
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notification.
